Run For A Wish is one of Launceston’s largest Fun Run/Walk and is held annually in October. This event is aimed at all members of the community, no matter what level of fitness or age. The main event will start and finish in the iconic Aurora Stadium and cover a scenic flat loop through beautiful Heritage Forest (6.4km). The children’s event, The Aurora Stadium Dash is a 400 metre run and every child wins a medal. Proceeds from this event go to Make-A-Wish® Australia and are used to grant wishes to local children with life threatening medical conditions. INFO: http://runforawish.com.au/
